Walton County Maintains Healthy
Credit Rating
(January 14, 2019)--Walton County has been issued a credit
level rating of Aa2 from Moody’s Investors Service. Walton County’s rating is on par with the median rating of Aa2 with counties of this size nationwide. According to Moody’s, factors contributing to this rating include a “robust
financial position, extremely small debt and pension liabilities, a large tax base
and a healthy wealth and income profile.”
